Dr. Mia Rochelle Lowden, aka Dr. Mia Ro, is a scientist, writer, and mom who believes in the magic of curiosity. Her love for astronomy and storytelling began in childhood and now lives on in her son, Apollo. It was Apollo’s imaginative comment about friendship that inspired Apollo’s Wish/Pluto’s DreamQuest. A biologist turned science policymaker, Dr. Mia Ro has published in top science journals, yet creative writing blends her passion for art and science.
